A free, transparent web portal for computing accurate Vedic auspicious timings.
Selecting an auspicious time for life milestones like marriage, house warming, buying a vehicle, or opening a business is a deep-rooted cultural tradition. Yet for families living outside traditional hubs, finding accurate timings for their exact latitude and longitude has often been frustrating.
Many traditional tables print sunrise and tithi end times calculated only for Ujjain, Varanasi, or Delhi. When used in London, New York, Dallas, or Melbourne, those static tables introduce errors of several hours.
Why we built this
Muhurta Portal was built by Vamsi Kandikonda at Spicyfy Ventures LLC. Our goal is straightforward: provide modern families, priests, and business owners with accurate, location-specific Vedic timings based on modern observational astronomy.
Our core principles
- Mathematical accuracy: We calculate planetary coordinates with arcsecond precision using Swiss Ephemeris and modern astronomical standards.
- Total transparency: We show you exactly why a window was recommended. You see each factor, whether it gained points from Tarabala or lost points from an overlapping Varjyam.
- Free and ad-free: Muhurta Portal does not sell your data, run intrusive display banners, or push paid astrologer consultations. Sign in with Google and run searches freely.
