At Muhurta Portal, operated by Spicyfy Ventures LLC, we treat your personal and astrological information with total respect. We do not sell your data, run third-party advertising networks, or monetize your birth chart details.

Information we collect

• Account details: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and avatar URL to authenticate your account.
• Astrological preferences: Your preferred calculation settings (Ayanamsa, sunrise definition, calendar style) and saved default city.
• Family profiles (optional): When you save a person, you may provide their birth date, time, and city. This information is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption on our servers.
• Saved muhurtas and reminders: The specific dates, times, and notes you save for your planned occasions.

How we use your information

Your information is used strictly to calculate planetary positions, determine Tarabala and Chandrabala compatibility, and deliver transactional reminder emails that you have requested.

Third party services

We rely on secure infrastructure providers:

• Google Firebase: for user authentication and encrypted Firestore database storage.
• Resend: to deliver transactional emails and scheduled muhurta reminders.
• Netlify: to host our web application and serverless function environment.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

You retain full control over your personal data at all times:

• Data export: You can download a complete archive of your profile, family people, and saved dates at any time from your Settings page.
• Right to erasure: You can permanently delete your account, family records, saved muhurtas, and authentication credentials with one click in Settings.
